Dated by radiocarbon to 30,000 BP, this Mammuthus primigenius is a nearly 50-year-old male, measuring 4.7 m long, 2.8 m tall and 2 m wide. His tusks reach almost 2.5 m. Organic tissue remnants remain on some bones. He was found in the 1990s, beyond the Arctic Circle on the Arctic coast, 200 km west of the Medveji Islands, in a bank of the Kuropatochya River. On deposit from SAS Le Prince Souverain.
